Domestic Sewage Pump Stations support is handled around the actual pump station arrangement: chamber type, pumped material, pump duty, controls, alarms, valves, rising main, access, ground conditions and whether the work is repair, servicing, refurbishment, replacement or new installation.
Domestic and smaller pump station systems
Domestic pump stations are often used where a home, extension, annexe, basement, garden room or outbuilding cannot drain by gravity. The system may be a compact micro pump station, a small foul sewage pumping station, a grey water lifting station or a larger external chamber serving more than one appliance.
Smaller does not mean simpler
Small pump stations can still fail if the chamber is undersized, the pump is wrong for the waste, the non-return valve is inaccessible, the float arrangement is poor, the alarm is missing, or the rising main is too small. Good domestic systems are selected around real use, access and future servicing.
Civil installation support if required
Alton Pumps can support the pumping side. If the domestic project needs excavation, drainage runs, chamber installation, concrete rings, trenching or reinstatement, Alton Facility Services can support the civil installation package where required.
